Come and stay…
Retreat to the Highlands and adventure in style at The Bothy, our cosy hideaway.
The Bothy at Ardgye
Set within the grounds of our small family estate, The Bothy is the perfect retreat and base camp from which to plot your adventures in the mountains or along our stunning coastline.
With comedy chickens, wild pheasants and deer around, you are fully immersed in nature. The large garden has a lovely pond area, and a wee orchard with apple, plum and pear trees. Harvest is a busy time pressing our own apple juice at Elgin Orchard and making as much jam as possible!
Our 5 acre paddock is home to beautiful horses from Gwinnett Equestrian and from the doorstep you can walk down the lane and around the Forestry Commission fields.
On clear nights the Northern Lights can be spectacular, especially from the Hot Tub!
And finally for the avid plane spotters we sit right below the flightpath of one of the the RAF Lossiemouth runways, so you will get the odd Typhoon or Poseidon taking off or coming in for landing.

The Moray Firth is just on our doorstep with the popular beach resorts of Lossiemouth, Hopeman, Burghead, Roseisle and Findhorn all within a 20 minute drive or less. We’re situated in one of the most important places on the British coastline for observing dolphins and whales!
